Xtreme Gutter Guards (by Leaf Solution)
A surgical-grade stainless steel micro-mesh system with patented hemmed construction that locks the mesh to the aluminum body so it won’t sag or separate. Handles up to 60 gallons of water per minute, blocks leaves, pine needles, pollen tassels, shingle grit, and twigs, and fits 5", 6", and 7" gutters in black and mill finishes. Choosing a size
5-inch vs. 6-inch seamless gutters
Most homes use one of two seamless gutter sizes: 5-inch or 6-inch. The 6-inch gutter is wider and deeper, so it moves significantly more water and clogs less easily — a better fit for steep or large roofs, heavy rainfall, and homes with a lot of tree cover. The 5-inch is the standard choice for many homes and pairs with a smaller downspout. We measure your roof and recommend the size that actually fits your home’s drainage needs.
Why it matters
What failing gutters do to your home
Most gutter problems are invisible until they get expensive. When water isn’t carried away properly, it goes somewhere it shouldn’t — and the damage shows up far from the gutter itself. These are the warning signs we’re called out for most:
Overflow during rain. Water sheeting over the edge usually means clogs, undersized gutters, or wrong pitch — and it’s washing soil away from your foundation.
Rotting fascia & soffit. Gutters pulling away or constant overflow soaks the wood behind them, leading to rot, peeling paint, and pest entry points.

What are seamless gutters, and are they better?
Seamless gutters are formed on-site from a single length of aluminum, so the only joints are at corners and downspouts. Because there are far fewer seams, there are far fewer places to leak or separate over time — which is why they hold up better than older sectional gutters and need less maintenance.
Are gutter guards worth it?
For most homes with nearby trees, yes. Micro-mesh guards keep leaves and debris out of the gutter so it doesn’t clog and overflow, which means far less cleaning and a lower risk of the water damage that clogged gutters cause. Do you repair the fascia and soffit behind the gutters?
